know a lot of you have heard of the famous Giacomo Casanova, but for those of you that haven’t… he’s pretty much one of the first recorded pickup artists in history; among other things.
Well, I personally have been reading up a little about him. So today I put together a list of some things he considered when getting women that I also agree with. The following are…To make a woman feel special, do something special.
I’ve had the most luck taking women to high end nightclubs, rooftops and of course dimly lit bars with relaxing music.
Privacy is an aphrodisiac.
This I apply to the dimly lit bar scenario – which also has enough space where my target and I can not be disturbed. I personally have a place that I have been going for close to 10 years that hardly ever has anyone in the back on the weekdays.
In those 10 years I’ve gotten blow jobs, hand jobs, and banged a couple of girls in the bathroom. Of course I always tip the bartender well – so we don’t get kicked out.
Admire her from all angles.
What Casanova is talking about is mirrors. There has also been some psychological evidence that suggests people naturally feel more comfortable in a setting with more mirrors. So wherever you choose to go – the more mirrors, the merrier.
Ask what she thinks.
Casanova spent a lot of his time asking questions and listening to details. I apply this to commonalities… the more commonalities, the better you connect. So listen carefully so you can catch those commonalities.
Once you find a commonality that you can relate to, then you can quickly recall an interesting experience to tell a captivating story. Remember to keep her engaged in the story by asking her subtle meaningless questions like “Have you been there” or “That’s a weird name right” as well.
Casanova sought to appeal to all the woman’s senses.
What he means by this is to smell good, surround her with good music and of course go to nice restaurants; at least when the relationship becomes a regular thing. I don’t take women out to eat until after we’ve already had sex though. Sometimes I’ll even take them out to a nice French restaurant for breakfast the day after.
As for smelling good… I always have a fresh collection of new cheap cologne, from all over the world, that I buy when travelling. London has tons of cheap vendors all over the city and Dubai has some of the best smelling street vendor colognes I’ve ever bought; all for around 5$ a jar.
I love music and I’m sure everyone does. So I take my dates out to places that have music like Frank Sinatra for a dimly lit bar experience. Also clubs that have great DJs that I’ve already heard.
